First Lady Qianna Tidmore
Lady Qianna Tidmore was born on Cleveland’s eastside, where she attended and graduated from Shaw High School in 1999. Upon graduation, Sis. Tidmore attended the University of Akron and received a Bachelor of Arts degree in 2003, majoring in Political Science. While an undergraduate, Sis. Tidmore held various leadership roles within her sorority, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.
In 2006, she received her Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Cleveland State University. As a result of her passion for education, Sister Tidmore pursued a career in teaching and currently serves as a project manager for Cuyahoga County’s Office of Early Childhood and also newly elected president-elect for the Ohio Association for the Education of Young Children. First Lady Tidmore is committed to community service and advocacy for those without a voice. She currently serves as a Chaplin for the Greater Cleveland Alumni Chapter of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Incorporated.
In May 2015, her husband, Rev. Jason L. Tidmore, Sr. was called to pastor Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church. She serves and leads the Women’s Department at GPMBC. Sister Tidmore is the proud wife of Rev. Jason Tidmore, Sr., mother of three beautiful daughters: Brianna, Jasmine and Olivia, and one son: Jason, Jr. Sister Tidmore’s favorite scripture is Proverbs 3:5-6, Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
