Reverend Jason L. Tidmore, Sr. , Pastor

pastor-tidmoreReverend Jason L. Tidmore was born on Cleveland’s southeast side, where he attended and graduated from Cleveland Metropolitan School District in 1998. Upon graduation Rev. Tidmore attended the University of Akron, later transferring to Cleveland State University, where he received a Bachelor’s of Arts degree in 2006, double majoring in History and Social Studies. While an undergraduate, Rev Tidmore has held various leadership roles serving as treasurer and chaplain for his fraternal organization Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity Inc, also serving as president and treasurer of the National Pan-Hellenic Council, and musical director for the University of Akron Gospel Choir. In 2009 Reverend Tidmore received his Masters of Education from Grand Canyon University and is now pursuing a Doctoral degree in Educational Organizational Development. As a result of his passion for education, Reverend Tidmore pursued a career in teaching and currently serves as an administrator in the Cleveland Metropolitan School District.

Reverend Tidmore accepted his call to ministry in November 2004, licensed into the preaching ministry in 2005 and ordained in 2009 all under the pastoral leadership of Dr. Johnny F. Twymon. In May of 2015, God saw fit to call Reverend Tidmore into the pastorate at the Greater Peace Missionary Baptist Church of Cleveland Heights, Ohio. Under the leadership of Pastor Tidmore the church has begun to grow both numerically and spiritually. Pastor Tidmore’s visionary leadership has resulted in many improvements within the church and the re-establishment of the youth department, creation of a praise dance ministry, and praise team. Pastor Tidmore is the proud husband of Qianna Tidmore and father of three beautiful daughters Brianna, Jasmine and Olivia and one son Jason Jr. Pastor Tidmore has a sincere love and compassion for God’s people, desiring to equip them with the word of God so they might understand in order to stand, and encourage sinners to leave their sinful ways and reconcile their lives back to God the Father.
